They say timing is everything, and this post is no exception. We’re thrilled to announce the\u00a0latest\u00a0#houseofhickey<\/a>\u00a0editorial featuring\u00a0Lauren Bennett (@laurenbennett<\/a>) for\u00a0Astonish Magazine<\/a>,\u00a0hitting the newsstands now. Meanwhile, the\u00a0singer, dancer and model best known as a member of the girl group G.R.L and Pussy Cat Dolls\u00a0just released her latest single Hurricane<\/em> on iTunes<\/a>!\u00a0Indeed, this multi-talented creative is bringing it. She’s on the pulse of pop culture and continues to reinvent herself. Lauren’s\u00a0strong sense of aesthetics and fashion industry experience\u00a0have\u00a0given her\u00a0vision and decisiveness. She was\u00a0a major player in the creative process, and her ideas were totally befitting of our House of Hickey sensibility. Wardrobe stylist Judith Len (@judystylexo<\/a>)\u00a0provided a\u00a0color palette of pastels and burgundy, mixing retro styling with modern edge. Hair by Andrew Miranda (@andystylist<\/a>) and makeup by Satya Linak (@satya_linak<\/a>) were tailored to complement each look, while maintaining glowing, contoured skin and no-fuss\u00a0hair. In post, we kept the edits minimal, allowing for imperfection and authenticity, while applying what James calls “a touch of retro haze finish,” and voil\u00e0, the final images emerged. \u00a0Enjoy!<\/p>\n
